Abstract

DNA is often metaphorically regarded as a drawing of life. DNA is applied in multidisciplinary fields such as engineering, medical science, computing, etc. DNA computing is one of the promising fields for practical applications. DNA computing enables us to design reaction networks using molecular reaction of DNA. It also enables us to understand the principle of many biological systems by creating simple design. In DNA computing, developing a system with randomness i.e. randomizer is a challenging task. So we try to develop randomizer using reactions of DNA polymerase and nicking nuclease. First, we start by examining whether two kinds of random results can be obtained. Then, we will make DNA dice using the newly developed randomizer and DNA origami. We expect that our work on developing the system that has randomness will broaden the scope of simulation in DNA computing.
